Removal of bladder diverticula

A bladder diverticulum is a bulge in the bladder wall. This can result in incomplete emptying of the bladder, which in turn can lead to bladder infections or the development of bladder stones. Surgical treatment would then become necessary, either by means of a robot-assisted procedure or an abdominal incision.
