Prostate cyst

Cysts are fluid-filled vesicles. In the prostate, these mainly occur as utricle cysts in the midline of the organ and are diagnosed using ultrasound. Treatment, which is typically a transurethral resection of the cyst (planning through the urethra), is only carried out in the case of symptoms.
