Privatdozent Dr. med. Jörn H. Witt, an internationally recognized pioneer of robot-assisted da Vinci surgeries, has joined Goldstadt Privatklinik at the beginning of 2023.

Robot-assisted surgeries have become an integral part of the surgical treatment spectrum in the field of urology. While initially only prostate cancer surgery was performed robotically, nowadays, the surgical robot is used for many other conditions (organ-preserving kidney tumor surgery, ureteroplasty, ureteral reimplantation).
Scientific studies demonstrate that robotic surgery leads to a particularly gentle treatment of the patient.

Roboter-assisted surgeries have been performed with the latest generation da Vinci Robot at Goldstadt Privatklinik since spring 2019.
Increasing patient numbers due to growing demand have prompted Goldstadt Privatklinik to expand this section.
