As of April 1, 2020, editors Prof. Dr. Kemal Sarica (Istanbul, Turkey) and Prof. Dr. Guohua Zeng (Guangzhou, China) have released a comprehensive new international textbook on "Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy." This textbook covers all aspects of percutaneous treatment of kidney stones and is unique in its kind. A focal point of the book is the presentation of modern minimally invasive techniques for percutaneous nephrolithotomy (Mini-PCNL). Prof. Dr. Sven Lahme (Goldstadt Privatklinik, Pforzheim) is the author of the chapter titled "Mini-PCNL." The contribution addresses the development of Mini-PCNL, its indications, practical implementation, and outcomes. Additionally, newer modifications of Mini-PCNL are introduced, and an algorithm for various methods of modern percutaneous kidney stone treatment is developed.
