During the Covid-19 pandemic, no international scientific congresses are currently taking place. Therefore, international scientific exchange is now happening through globally accessible video conferences over the internet.

On June 6, 2020, an international webinar on "Percutaneous Kidney Stone Surgery from A to Z" took place with the participation of Goldstadt Privatklinik Pforzheim. The event was conducted in collaboration with Dr. S. K. Pal from New Delhi, India. 680 registered urologists from around the world watched presentations by internationally recognized urologists from 8 countries: India, Vietnam, UK, Philippines, Germany, Morocco, Dubai, and Romania.

Goldstadt Privatklinik, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. med. Sven Lahme, contributed a presentation on innovations in minimally invasive surgical techniques aimed at minimizing complications. The webinar presentation was broadcast live from the endourological operating room of Goldstadt Privatklinik. This utilized the digital technology of the hospital's operating rooms, allowing for simultaneous transmission of operating room footage, endoscopy, sonography, and X-ray images.

Goldstadt Privatklinik is thereby making an active contribution to the continued education and training of urologists in minimally invasive surgical techniques, even during the Covid-19 pandemic.
