Scientific contribution of Goldstadt Privatklinik to the North Zone Chapter of the Urological Society of India congress

Mini-PCNL according to Lahme is increasingly establishing itself as a new standard for percutaneous stone therapy in India as well. Goldstadt Privatklinik contributes actively to the online congress of the North Indian Society of Urology.

From January 22nd to 24th, 2021, the congress of the North Indian Society of Urology took place. India, with a population of approximately 1.3 billion people, has a high number of urinary stone patients, who are increasingly being treated with miniaturized endoscopic techniques nowadays. Here, the "Mini-PCNL" according to Lahme, published in 2001, has also become increasingly established in India.

On January 22nd, 2021, Goldstadt Privatklinik Pforzheim actively participated in the congress, which took place online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to Prof. Dr. med. S. Lahme, international speakers from the USA, France, Bulgaria, Greece, UK, Chile, and Australia were involved. Prof. Dr. med. S. Lahme gave a lecture on the topic: "More than 20 years of Mini-PCNL: From the idea and development to the new standard of percutaneous stone removal". Several thousand participants followed the congress online.
